Dvd Collection
Are my friends treating me like a Blockbuster because of my large dvd collection?
I happen to have a large dvd collection at home and my two friends (who are married to each other) noticed and so we watched a film in my home, then they borrowed a dvd to watch at their own home. The next day they came over to ‘say hi’ and returned it and borrowed another, then left. Is this okay? Feels a bit odd. When is it too many?
Good answers. The funny part is they were the ones who made the ‘Blockbuster’ reference. Other details, they just came by for 15-20 minutes, not to actually hang out…nor did they invite me to watch it. The collection largely belongs to my father as I only own 20 to his 500.
if it feels odd then put a stop to it, you’re not a rental place. what do they offer you in return? i let my friends borrow things from me when they need them because they’re my friends and i care about them, but they never make a habit of it
