Does anyone else feel that Pink Floyd is unparalleled in terms of musical genius?
This question was inspired after I tried to answer the question about my five favorite Floyd songs, and I found that I couldn’t. Does anyone else here feel that Floyd is just so much above and beyond every other band that it’s just insane? I mean, I am a huge classic rock junkie, and I listen to a lot of great bands (The Doors, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, etc.), but I feel that none of them even compare to Pink Floyd. What do you guys think, is Pink Floyd the deepest (lyrically and musically), greatest band to ever walk the earth?

Yes, I do agree with you. Pink Floyd is unparalled. They’re unique. They aren’t my favorite band, but I think they might be better.
They have that unique ability to put you in a trance. AND they have the best lyrics.
